Abstract Thursday - Heron

I always think Herons look odd when they're sitting up high in trees!  I took this on a walk along the brook with my great friend G who's staying for a few days.  As it's Abstract Thursday I played around with the tones until I got this effect (which to me almost looks like something you'd see on oriental pottery),  The extra is of a Robin, which I think are so cute!
