Family Time

Backblip for Thursday 3rd March 2016

I took the train to the town of Rayleigh in Essex, where I grew up, to meet with my sister Susan and our cousins Barbara and Freda.  It's always good to see them, and we had a wander around the shops and a lovely lunch together.  After we'd said our goodbyes, I called by Holy Trinity Church at the top of the High Street to take some pictures in the bright afternoon sunshine.  It looked beautiful surrounded by the spring flowers.  Happy memories of my idyllic childhood, when I used to hear the regular peal of the bells from our home nearby.
