Geum

Another one from the garden. After a fairly sunny day the storm clouds are gathering again and it looks like we are in for another 24 hour stint of the wet stuff. The flowers are really suffering. I have four gorgeous pink roses in full bloom and as sure as eggs is eggs they will be bent over with the weight of the rain and their petals rusted by the end of tomorrow. It's been a bad summer for the garden. We have to keep our fingers crossed and believe the weathermen who never get it right when they say the jet stream is on the move.

Knowing our luck it will still hang low over Scotland :(

On the news yesterday they were reporting what a bad year it was for a lot of wildlife. Bees were mentioned in particular. I have to say that we have more than ever despite the weather. And I know Mandygf who lives across the Tay from me says the same. Mind you I do have a lot of bee friendly plants in the garden. not to encourage wildlife but to scare the beejaysus out of Mr Lif who is a complete woos when anything winged comes near him!!!!!

Work is very quiet. I nearly gnawed my own leg off today just to relieve the boredom. I think I need to find a new job to preserve what is left of my sanity......but doing what????
