Small world
Back to the Pera Museum this afternoon for the third time this month - but with different students - so I was looking for something different as my photo of the day and chose this floor level quick shot (taken with phone) of the entrance to the exhibition of Anatolian weights and measures in all its shiny reflective glory. Downstairs a little while later to round up my charges, and I stopped dead in my tracks at the sight of one of my lovely graduates - '09 (wonderful violinist in the orchestra) who having finished her degree in Art history in Canada, came back and is working in Istanbul, at the Pera Museum no less, as, among other things, curator of the exhibition that I had decided to photograph just a few minutes earlier !
In other news: really sunny and actually very warm this afternoon. I believe this weather may be here to stay, unlike me, as I am off to the UK tomorrow for Spring Break.
