i'm not letting go, spish..
i'm still not letting go of them.
You won't get them through the door, Lottie.
i'm not letting go.
(see extras - I told you so)
I'm sure I read somewhere that Border Collies are one of the most intelligent breeds of dog... hhmmmm.
Anyway, I did manage to get more than a few hours sleep last night albeit full of the strangest dreams involving; me on a tiny bicycle, my old neighbour on a scooter, a boy I went to school with when I was 5 (where the hell did that come from!?) arranging for my stepM to ride on a tractor???? Very odd things go on in dreams don't they? I also dreamt that I had sneakily bought some tobacco and papers and was trying to roll a ciggie without Pete noticing. In real life awake mode I have no desire to smoke again and have notched up nearly 7 months without!
I'm blahing on a bit. Earlier today on a work related appointment I ended up having to carry out first aid on a gas engineer who managed to gouge out a hefty piece of his scalp on a metal boiler casing... ouch and lots of blood.... he then had a wibbly wobbly moment but I ascertained that he'd been working since 7am and had had nothing to eat! I did my matronly thing and ticked him off for going out without eating breakfast, once I had staunched the flow of blood (a moment of alarm when the first tissue that came to hand was one I had used earlier to blow my nose - we found a clean pack.. phew) and found him a scabby old melted fruit sweet from my car to eat.
So there we are. If there is anyone still awake after reading through all my ramblings then thank you all once again for the response to my 4 year blip. I've only just finished responding to the comments.
My weekend is about to start....and relax...
