Flying away

This afternoon a friend and I went for a walk around Colemere. There were three great crested grebes on the water and I'd hoped to see their courting dance but it was not to be as they showed no interest in each other.

There were a number of family groups around and this grey heron flew away as a rather noisy bunch approached. A least they were out getting exercise rather than being glued to computers!
