The survivors

I had grand plans for a garden full of flowers this summer all grown from seed. I spent hours sowing, carefully tending, watering, inspecting daily. Then I had to move them outside and that was pretty much the end of the adventure. The combined forces of bastard greedy snails and constant rain killed off 90% of them. Callendula are lovely and tough though, one of my favourite flowers and there is now a nice smattering of orange flowers round the garden.

Had to miss Daisy's postponed due to weather sports day becasue of work which was annoying. Was lovely to see her going off to the end of year disco - unlimited squash all round!!!
