Buttresses

Back to the Botanic Garden today.  I was chasing a wood turner who makes lovely things from local woods,and finally caught him at his new exhibition.  He does some wonderful stuff, and reasonably priced too.

It took great strength of will to walk away today.  The weather is just gorgeous, and the light - even in the middle of the day - was soft and delicious.

That's why I love autumn so much.

Edit:  Especially for BikerBear, the extra sort of qualifies for flower Friday on account of it was a flower once :)).  This is a close-up of the long shot I took yesterday.
