Larnaca Old Town

It's er, a little cold over here!! 10degC in the night?! Need to sort some things out duvet-wise.

So, after all the intensity of the last two days, waking up at the crack of dawn was not on the cards. Think we were able to head out by 10:30am though - so not too bad.

I have taken on a project to furnish the apartments of two owners in the same complex, so there is lots to do and people to coordinate with. First thing is to get access to them... then to get them cleaned, then to source and buy appliances and furniture.

I won't bore you with details, but the clean is going to be bigger than anticipated and a days delay is making a difference. That and the fact that I had forgotten that Cyprus closes at lunch time on a Wednesday (?!) AND it is a public holiday on Friday. There you go... We've got our work cut out. Blipping will have to take a back seat, and I apologise in advance for not being able to get to your journal.

We did head to the Promenade for lunch (at my insistence). Ended up at TGIF and I couldn't help noticing this building from where I was sitting. Made a bee-line for it after lunch... (please see the extra as well). Once again I think I may have had the wrong camera, but at least it's not a phone image.

Cyprus still has many old style buildings and they are full of character. I'd love to be able to spend more time looking and photographing them. We'll see how we go. It is also spring and very pretty everywhere... :D
