Goldie

I know. Naming a goldfinch Goldie really lacks imagination.  The Lesser Goldfinch has been the most difficult little bird for me to photograph, for a couple of reasons.  First, they don't stay still for very long.  By the time I spot one and try to turn the camera towards it, it's usually gone!  One of the other reasons is that I haven't been able to get any definition between the black eye and the black cap.  So this one, with as much detail as I was able capture, is by far the best photo I've ever gotten of the little sunny gems!  I hope you like it.
