Back Blip. Yesterday's back blip is here.

We had the whole day with nothing planned. After a leisurely breakfast we drove north and found a complex of craft galleries and a coffee house at Kirkharle. We then discovered that Kirkharle was the birthplace of Capability Brown. After coffee we took a brisk walk so that we could get some exercise. It had to be brisk as it was cold and breezy. While we were having coffee we noticed some very nice lunch options so then decided to have lunch at the coffee house.

We then drove on to Keilder Water and by the time we got there it was raining heavily. Earlier while we were at Kirkharle there had been a hailstorm. As you can see from the extra, by the time we got back to the hotel it was sunny with blue sky and puffy white clouds. The April showers have arrived early.
