Help please?

Any Latin scholars out there? Been researching cardinal compass points in Latin for my celtic sea compass today but google translator keeps changing its mind.
After looking at various translators, nearest I have come up with is below.. unless you know any different?
North = Septentriones
South = Meridies
East = Oriens
West = Occidens
Just pencilled something in for now
Other than that it's going fine I think.
