Ambleside

A blustery and showery day so we called in to Grasmere and Ambleside. Despite having taken a picnic with us it was too wet and cold to eat it out side so we indulged in a dog friendly café in Ambleside and warmed through with a couple of hot chocolates and coffees each!  Gave Reggie a run along the lake side when we got back but we were beaten back by blustery hail stones.....  one of the few times I am pleased we are caravanning rather than tenting as we used to!
