Forget-Me-Nots
Spring is officially here when the forget-me-nots appear. They come up just any old where and what a pleasure they are.
Spent the afternoon on my knees in the front yard gardening. It was beautiful and quiet, things looked and smelled wonderful, and the weeds slipped right out when I tugged at them - mostly. Plus, I have many great neighbors and it was fun to see the ones who appeared: Sophia (sophomore at Roosevelt) and a friend walked by chatting and singing. Tricia and Alex brought their one-month-old son, Casey, out for a walk - the little guy has stolen my heart. And Dan from down the block came along trying to keep up with his little grandson careering (careening?) along in a battery operated car that was pretty big for such a little fella.
