Last evening the ADSL modem died and a new one won't be delivered for 5 days. As internet access is important for the day-to-day running of our business, it was into central Brisbane first thing to buy a portable 4G wireless modem to fill the gap.

How glad I was that I went early! There were three of us waiting for the shop to open at 9am and three assistants ready to help - one each. By the time I left 15 minutes later there must hae been around 60 people queuing! It's hard to remember a world before mobile phones, internet and wireless connectivity.

How simple is the life of this juvenile Magpie.
