Are they deep enough?

Popped to the house tonight to pay the next installment and have a chat with Steve. They have dug down one meter and are hoping that will be deep enough. The building inspector is coming round tomorrow so fingers crossed he is happy. Considering the extension that has been took down had no foundations at all they shouldn't really moan.
If all goes well the concrete should be poured on Thursday meaning next week we should have some brick above ground!!!
