Spot of blue

My last day of an extra long long weekend :-(

We did a bit of sorting out in the house this morning in preparation for next weekend, Charlotte's birthday weekend. Visitors are the one thing that pushes me to clear up properly!

I was determined to get out for some fresh air so we had a walk round Newmillerdam - it was a bit showery but in between the showers it was lovely. There are going to be loads of bluebells soon, and there were just a few early ones today so it was worth the effort of getting out. We also saw quite a few nesting birds, see one in particular in extras.

Was hoping for a quiet night catching up on some of the hours of tv I have been recording - but my little shadow has another case of insomnia!
