Early Morning Sun, Ardmurdo

The ball of the sun, seen at around 07:05 BST from the top of Ardmurdo Dene, along the Mill of Fintray - Balbithan - Inverurie road, above Kinkell.

Today's 'extra' was taken some 20 minutes earlier, along the road from Grantlodge to Kemnay: the sun appeared behind a lone cloud, giving the appearance of an eruption of fire on the eastern horizon.
