When Do We Get Out?

This year's tomato plants are coming along well.  Here's hoping for a good year for them.

An odd Tuesday.  Work was pretty normal but after it I was on a mission to check on my ill German teacher. 

She was feeling better and I think she felt better for a bit of company.

And then, on the way home, I saw one of THE most stupid things I think I've ever seen.

My opinion of people who use their mobile phones while driving is not high.  I believe the phrase "f***ing Idiot" is the correct term.

We need something new.

I was in the bus - I don't drive, I see too many F.I.s for that to be even a remote possibility - and a car draws up beside the bus and directly next to my window.  There's a woman driving.  She has her small son in the passenger seat.  I'd guess he was around 6 or 7.  She's on the telephone.  I can see that she is and she's chatting away.

It's obvious that's she's a brilliant driver and laws about talking on a mobile while driving don't apply to her.  She probably has a certificate from Angela Merkel saying so.

I know she's a bona fide brilliant driver because not only is she on the phone while driving with her very young son next to her in the passenger seat, she's also eating an ice cream cone at the same time.

I wouldn't just take her license away, I'd take her mobile away as well.

That's a whole new level of Stupid.
