Grant Park Beach

It's a gorgeous spring day today so we ran around getting some errands done & then went to the park. A few fishermen were at various spots trying their luck, but didn't seem to be catching anything, and a few people--like ourselves--were walking around near the water, but it's much colder here than at the house, with a stiff wind coming off the water! I couldn't believe how low the Lake is--most likely because of the mild winter we had with so little snow--the water usually comes inland at least another 10-15 feet or so from where it is now. The good thing with more of the sand being exposed though is that it's much easier to walk all the way out to the point. With the water level so low, we could walk straight across instead of trying to scramble up the sides of the hills and hoping not to slip and fall in! :))
