Community Celebration Week

After a quiet morning, I headed off to today's London Blipmeet. Some of the lovely blippers that I met there are in today's photo - taking a stop at the pub after our walk down from Tower Bridge to Blackfriars (stopping, of course, along the way to take photos!). A very pleasant Easter afternoon, and thankfully Storm Katie stayed at home... hurrah!

So, this was all part of Blipfoto's Community Celebration Week (and this bit for the people I linked here on facebook) which exists because some brave people made a move to save this site by getting it community owned. And I am very grateful that they did - Blipfoto hosts one of the most vibrant and engaging communities that I am pleased to be a (small) part of. Perhaps if you're reading this, you might have a look through your journal, as I did this evening, and remember what it is you love about blip and the community here. Now is the time to be grateful for it, and nurture it as we go forward - blip is made of us!
