Cyd is back

She's not a stray.
She never comes very early in the morning or after tea time.
She doesn't go out in the rain
She isn't battered and bruised
She's putting on weight
She is noisy and, now, very affectionate.

I think she is the female equivalent of "Six Dinner Sid" and I'm happy to feed her.

I also don't feel guilty that I go away from time to time. She certainly won't starve.
