Hero Food

The other day a friend asked me why the one thing I hadn't Blipped was fish and chips, since I work in a chippy! So tonight I thought I would do just that!

I remember reading a book set in a magazine office and the cookery photographer would refer to the food chosen to illustrate the articles as "Hero Food" . But maybe fish 'n' chips could be the food of heroes!

Just two of us worked tonight as Bank Holidays are usually pretty quiet. It wasn't that quiet, especially at the beginning of the night, but we managed just fine! So well in fact, that the boss is talking about making it just the two of us every week. Gulp!! I wish we'd made a mess now!
