FLOWERING EUCALYPT and ANTIGONON
I found this bunch of gum flowers this morning. near the creek. They are at waist height so making the shot was easy.
Then back at home, I couldn't go past the antigonon on the front fence. It was looking particularly comely, and rarely, there was no wind. I particularly wanted to show you the little curved hooks with which it climbs. It has never been planted, dies back in winter, blooms for 7-8 months, it fights a bit with the jasmine, maybe classified as a weed in these parts, but who cares when it's beautiful.
