Yellow!  What is this plant called?*  It was a delight, the bright yellow pompoms with the yellow bike sign together, blue sky and sunshine, it trumped my usual assortment of b&w street shots today.  I was SO ready to see sunshine.  An extra of the plant from a distance if it helps with the identification.  

I love this time of year in Portland, plants and trees are just bursting with life and color.

*Update: I received an identification on the plant from a buddy on 365 - it's Kerria japonica.
