The Kelpies

No matter how often I pass the Kelpies alongside the Edinburgh- Stirling motorway they still surprise me. These  giant horses , mythical Scottish sea-horses, are a great contribution to modern public art . 
They are Scotland's answer to the Angel of the North.

And I disagree with Guardian art critic Jonathan Jones http://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/jonathanjonesblog/2014/apr/22/andy-scott-kelpies-sculpture-falkirk-scotland who described them as a "load of poo".
