Meet Lowie

As promised yesterday, here is Lowie! She was much shyer than her sister but yesterday evening, it was as though they'd both just decided that this was home! Lowie still looks to her sister to make sure a situation is ok for them both. Lowie is cheeky, I've noticed, as soon as she wakes up from a nap she likes to play. Immediately. Usually batting a poor sleeping Sophie on the head to wake her to play. Lowie is the most vocal of the two, she cries when her sister leaves her on her own downstairs, I usually find her crying whilst hiding behind the settee.

The girls had their first trip to the vets today, Sophie weighed in at 0.7kgs and Lowie 0.8kgs which is odd as we thought Lowie was the smallest of the two. I've booked them in for the vaccinations and taken away the price list so I can budget in their neutering appt in a few months time. The vets offer a discount on microchipping them if you have them neutered at the same time, makes sense to just get it all done.

I'm really happy though, they're settling down very nicely ... I'm more than sure that there will be many more kitty stories :)
