A Creative Dinner
Not an incredibly imaginative picture today, but I spent a lovely evening with these people at The Bothy restaurant in Glasgow's West End, so I thought I owed it to them to use their picture.
I couldn't tear myself away from my ribeye steak long enough to compose anything more creative! Sorry. (Note to self, must try harder).
These people are the judges for the Scottish Creative Awards and the chairmanof the judges is the chap second from the right, John Jessup, who is a bit of an advertising legend. He works for Leo Burnett in London and is a smashing chap. He usually wears a pork pie hat (I think you call them) and he had one with him last night, but due to the free flowing wine I never got around to grabbing a shot of him wearing it. Next time.
The chap in the centre of the picture, right at the end of the table, runs fantastic CGI and animation company in the north west, so if anyone is a CGI and animation fan do check out his website.
Second on the left is Ben Hatton, son of well known Liverpudlian businessman Derek Hatton and he runs a great online agency in Liverpool and does loads of interesting football stuff such as the Everton and Arsenal websites. He has actually just launched the new site for the Professional Footballer's Association and I'm pleased to say he remained very professional himself throughout the mea, unlike most professional footballers!
I've not got time right now to go through everyone at the table (I'm supposed to be working), but they were all great fun and we had a cracking time.
