Our Last Museum Monday

I think by next Monday that we will be on our way home

I decided to concentrate on the Madonna and the Christ child. It appears that Mr. Ringling REALLY liked paintings of Mary and Jesus. I captured these eight, but I left many more out.

A couple things stand out to me. Evidently, many of the artists thought both Jesus and Mary were redheads. (No wonder they had to wrap him in swaddling clothes.) And, like many babies, it looks like Jesus didn't like to wear clothes. (Maybe he didn't like to be swaddled.)

Always fun to see the priceless art. Plus, it makes for a colorful blip.

As an added bonus today...it is both colorful AND holy.
