Camarthen

Leaving Salem this morning, we headed to Camarthen to a Caravan and Motorhome dealers, in search of some necessary accessories. Massively unsuccessful in our mission we killed some time in a local store,purchasing bedding and storage items for the van. Thence to Pendine Sands.

Things grew quite horrible after that, and there was Damage to van, nerves and confidence

We had booked ahead for the night at a Brit Stops site. We rang ahead although their listing said that they take vans over 30 feet in length. We are a big American RV, we said, any problems? No came the reply, that's fine. We turned up to find an impossible access. We tried to turn around and attempt from the other direction but had no success and ended up driving for miles with not so much as a layby for respite and regrouping. Happily after an hour of being hoplessly lost we fell across a fantastic site and some friendly helpful folks at Cold Blow, where we are parked up now.
