A day at the beach

A glorious Good Friday so a day at the beach is called for - at Ogmore-by-sea.  Seems lots of others had the same idea, car park full, so adopted the French style and just left the car on the road along with dozens of others.

Walk along the coast in the afternoon sun was so relaxing, scrambling up over the shelving rocks when the encroaching tide covered the sands.  The stone wall along the headland enclosed fields of grazing sheep.  I wondered why they were so high, when on our return walk we saw a dozen or so fairly bulky looking sheep scrambling over the top, leaving a collapsed wall in their wake.
