And suddenly . . .

Suddenly it was like summer!  After a wet and windy morning, by the afternoon it was sunny and bright, the wind had dropped and there was even some heat in the sun.  

While we were in Extremadura last Easter my Spanish sister in law introduced us to torrijas.  Traditional Easter fare, think of the most decadent eggy bread imaginable, so I had a shot at making some for lunch and the result was excellent!   Many thanks, Aurora!

While Mike did a bit more to his new switching panel for the boat, Ollie and I went to the beach at Honeysgeo to get some shell sand for the hens.  He naturally took the opportunity for a dip, while I sat and watched the waves.
