Mono Monday . . . Portrait

I had to wait all day for a portrait subject.  If this had been a school day I would have had 90 children to practice on but being Easter Monday there is no school.  My husband came home this evening after his weekend away.  Here he is texting his friends to say he is safely arrived at home.    Behind him on the wall is a portrait of his own father.  
The movie today was Brooklyn which Claire and I both thought was sublime.  The context of people leaving Ireland, the clothes from 1952, the love story . . . it had it all for us.
