Oh Little Froggy...You Taste So Good!

My sister was visiting from southern Oregon this weekend, so we took a little walk along the Rock Creek Trail under Hwy 26 over to Evergreen.  Then I remembered this lovely little pond you could see from the road, and even though it was almost impossible to get a shot through the berry brambles, I managed to catch this blue heron with the "catch of the day"....a lovely frog, while all of his buddies watched from behind.

More photos of the "rogue eagle" that was circling above our eagle nest....while the pair sat quietly in their nest.  It finally caught a nice thermal and off it went without any confrontations.....click here.
