Egg Day

What a fun day! All the grandchildren joined us in a breakfast feast and then we drove to Instow as we'd heard an Easter Bunny was due to drop mini eggs in the dunes for them to find.  The delightful sound of very excited young grands could be heard as they 'found' the eggs being dropped by the eldest! Such fun watching the amazement on their faces.  Sadly then the clouds rolled up and we got thoroughly soaked getting back to the car. Luckily the younger ones' parents' car was much closer so they were safe and dry. The rest of us looked like the proverbial drowned rats.... Back home for a warming brew and play, then, whilst lunch was roasting we went to our local park for a play - the sun now being out......Home for delicious dinner, more play and then relaxing after the elder grands had gone home. Tired again today - but done my steps definitely!
