Derelict Sunday: Forgotten

I have often passed this forgotten old building which is at the side of the road between Knaresborough and Boroughbridge; and today I decided it was time to get it blipped.
I can't find any information about it, and it is not mentioned on any maps.
It is probably an old gatehouse or lodge for a large nearby residence, although it appears that the driveway past it is no longer the main entrance.
Over the years, nature has taken over and vegetation is encroaching upon the decaying structure.
I decided to use this one as the main image as I liked the effect of the sunlight pouring in between the beams. There are some other shots in today's extras.
