Driftwood
I did not get many shots in today as my daughter and grandchildren were heading off back to Edinburgh. This was taken when I was walking the dogs. This snarled old piece of driftwood sits on the edge the salt marsh in Belhaven Bay and has remained so for the last eight years or so that we have lived in East Lothian. I have taken many shots of it before but never from this angle. I thought the monochrome treatment suited it best of all. How it came to be there in first place remains a mystery as I can't imagine the salt marsh flooding sufficiently high to move it.
