~One Of The Advantages Of The Monsoons~

The Rain Sage is exploding in the desert after the recent storms.
The bushes are covered with these less than half inch flowers.
Thousands of these blooms will drape each sage in purple.
And the fragrance is overpowering, almost bordering on stinky.
If the wind is right, you know your within a half mile of this plant.
For me it's part and parcel of the desert summer monsoons.
In a season of many advantages, this is just one more.
