13th Century Church St John Baptist

Wickhamford  was mentioned in the Doomsday book, under the name Wiquene   the church is 13th Century where there is a memorial stone of Penelope Washington relative of George Washington president of the USA.  the nearby Manor House was used as a Sanatorium for the Abby. see extra.
