Water Flea?

Pieces of plant and other debris still hang in branches way above the normal water level in the River Don and other local rivers, where they were caught when the river was in spate during this past winter's floods.

This particular piece of vegetation above the River Don close to spot where I often stop to photograph the Nebbit Stane, has, I think, a distinctly crustacean-like appearance...
