I love naval paintings...

... and this one is particularly nice - I found it on an old card.   It represents HMS Britannia running into Portsmouth harbour and is by the 19th century painter, George Chambers.   Chambers sadly died in his thirties before reaching the height of his powers.

I find it very tranquil - the great ship back from a Mediterranean commission, and heading for a restful mooring.
