Fujairah

We were up very early this morning to take the boys into the Hajar Mountains to do a 3 day hike.

Fujairah is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, and the only one of the seven that has a coastline solely on the Gulf of Oman and none on the Persian Gulf. It is the only emirate of the UAE that is almost completely mountainous.

Karen & I carried on to the coast to spend the weekend in a spa resort near Dibba Beach (see tomorrow).
