Management speak. I do not understand it. Who are the people who come up with it in the first place?

We were informed today, that our new Area Manager would be 'going live' on the 30th of July ( Are we to infer from this, that at present she's a corpse? One of the undead?) and that until then, 'going forward' , we are 'without viable systematic support'.

I think it means we have no boss!
