The way I see it.

Hello - I'm back!

Been gone from Blip for nearly a month as I was moving house and things were a little hectic! But I'm back now and as my niece Rosamund and her two children arrived today she inspired me to find my camera and get going again. The move went well and I am delighted to be settled in my new house that has a wonderful sea view from the kitchen window. I have been busy decorating and laying laminate floor ing and doing lots of odd jobs round the house. All the boxes are unpacked and nearly everything is in it's right place so it's time to draw breath and start to enjoy my summer holiday.

We went out for a lovely walk this evening along the shore and back through "The Commons" which gives you two very different habitats on the one walk. There were hardy maritime plants growing along the shore line but as soon as we entered the shelter of the scrubby trees in The Commons there was a profusion of wild flowers to be enjoyed. This blip was taken looking across at Channory Point lighthouse with the chimneys of Fort George in the foreground. There was a beautiful light filtering through the clouds.

It's been a long day so it's off to bed (and my wonderful new memory foam mattress!)
