Raptor Foundation

Had a brilliant morning with a group of strangers and some birds of prey today. (3 extras too)

There was an Ely Friends meetup at the Raptor Foundation and, once again, I didn't know a soul. Nice friendly bunch though and the weather was gorgeous too. 

Didn't realise it was only 40 minutes away from me either so if anyone fancies a blipmeet over there let me know :) 

Came home to Stella and some lunch then we had a riverside walk along the Ouse at Little Thetford and nabbed a couple of geocaches while we were at it. Got a few pitying looks as every other walker we met today was, unusually, part of a couple. Hey ho, can't do anything about that! 

Overall a good day.

In kitchen news...the microwave works, the warming drawer works, the hob works, my re-located washing machine works but the extractor doesn't yet. Haven't tried the oven yet!
