New Fronds

The ferns are enjoying their indoor Spring as usual, new fronds everywhere. And the little chestnut tree seems to have survived its drastic pruning quite happily and is putting out new leaves. New life!
Did the first work of the year at the allotment today, a few hours spent digging up the rest of last year's spuds. I'll probably still be eating them when the next crop is ready. And looking forward to an achy back tomorrow!
