The Long Good Friday

This afternoon's game at Huish Park seemed a lot longer than 90 minutes as Yeovil and Carlisle struggled to a 0-0 draw in what was, at times, a comically inept performance with both sides failing to grasp the idea of passing to members of their own team. Can't remember a decent shot on goal from either side.

I felt sorry for the 264 away fans who had spent their Bank Holiday making a 6 hour plus trip down the length of the country, arriving 10 minutes before kick off, having to endure this and then having to travel all the way back again .

This picture typifies events in that the ball is way out of sight up in the air, where it spent the majority of the game. The good news that all the teams around us either drew or lost so we're another game nearer to safety.
