Oboe Lips

Finally after almost two years in a home repair "shop", I at last was able to retrieve my beloved Oboe....I had intentions of taking it up once again...but now it may not happen as I have some other priorities...but I can at least dink around with it.  I played it in jr and senior high and then a bit in college.  I did achieve a very lovely tone when I played it....but I didn't practice near enough and so I never mastered it....but I enjoyed always sitting second chair anyhow and it brings back some good memories of honking away in the day!  Thank you again for hosting Flower Friday Biker Bear!

It sat on the shelf
Lonely and needing repairs
Now waits for my lips
