Good neighbours

Our neighbours showed the way to use this excellent Good Friday weather. I contributed hot cross buns and we sat in the sun outside for coffee for the first time this year.

I love the starkness of these still bare trees against the blue sky. Not long now until the green shoots assert new life. Great to live in a northern temperate zone at Easter!

This afternoon we drove through the sunshine to spend a weekend with mum in Kingswinford.
