Defending the territory

This afternoon I went for a walk in Glyn Ceiriog, making the most of a lovely sunny Good Friday. 

There were lots of birds around and must have been enjoying the sun too. This rock must be the territory and probable nesting place of the raven. I watched it flying at a group of three buzzards and sending them away and here it is flying at a kestrel that was in it's patch.
